Service Alert for Route:

• Have you noticed that we're updating bus stop signs in Queens? We're preparing for the Queens Bus Network Redesign coming this summer
  Queens Bus Network Redesign service improvements will be phased in by route on June 29 and August 31, 2025.
  
  Until then, know that your bus route will still serve current stops, but some signs will reflect future service.
  
  Use the MTA app or BusTime to plan your trip.

• Q17 buses are detoured in both directions between 45th Ave at Kissena Blvd and Main St at 37th Ave
  Buses make the first and last stop on Main St at 37th Ave. (see map)
  
  For northbound service, use the stop on Kissena Blvd at Holly Ave. Northbound buses also make requested stops along Bowne St from 45th Ave to Sanford Ave.
  
  The first southbound stop after the detour is on Kissena Blvd at 45th Ave. Southbound buses also make requested stops along Union St from 37th Ave to Sanford Ave.
  
  Northbound missed stops:
  Along Kissena Blvd from 45th Ave to Sanford Ave
  39th Ave at Main St
  138th St at 37th Ave
  
  Southbound missed stops:
  138th St at 37th Ave
  Main St at 38th Ave
  Along Kissena Blvd from Main St to Elder Ave

• The 1:04pm Q17 to 39 AV/MAIN ST is canceled
• Q17 stops along Kissena Blvd between Elder Ave and 41st Ave are closed in both directions
  For northbound service, use the stops on Kissena Blvd at 45th Ave or 39th Ave at Main St.
  
  For southbound service, use the stops on Main St at 38th Ave or Kissena Blvd at Elder Ave.
  
  Buses also make requested stops along Main St between Elder Ave and 41st Ave in both directions.
